The science behind the exhibit

Biology: Changing the World is spreading the word about the great biologists of the past and sharing stories about how these scientists changed the world.

This project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and has been developed in partnership with BBSRC. Through public engagement, a schools resource, plaques on a building, an app and a website the project aims to celebrate scientists of the past and inspire those of the future.

What to expect

- Learn about the unsung heroes of biology who have changed the world
- Fun games and activities, both to play on the day and to take home to share with others
- Photo prop booth where you can have your picture taken as your favourite scientist
- Chance to win prizes by being the fastest to find the hidden scientists
